DT4-small Delta Energy Services provide quality surveillance and recruitment services to the oil & gas industry. They have a proven track record in partnering with some of the world’s largest companies to provide engineering and inspection resources. Their support is invaluable to the overall success of the TeapotOne project, allowing the dream to continue and even more funds be raised for my chosen charities. A massive thank you to Bob, Martin and all the team at DES. (www.des-global.com)

A motorbike with no tyres is just a shiny, sexy chair, so a huge thank you goes to Bridegstone for supplying the ‘boots’ for the trip in the form of their stunning new ‘BATTLAX BT-023′ Sports Touring tyres. I am delighted to welcome Bridgestone to the TeapotOne project. A journey of this magnitude and of such extreme nature means my tyres will be exposed to every type of terrain in every type of condition. Doing this solo means I need to have the utmost faith in the quality and durability of my kit, so for me there really was only one name to turn to. Bridgestone’s reputation for a quality product, together with the incredible new features of their BT-023 tyre, like incredible durability, superior ride quality, low noise, sharp handling, amazing braking, and stunning wet grip, make them the only choice for my 100,000 mile around the world adventure. Having Bridgestone on my bike means I’m ready to tackle whatever twist and turn the journey ahead throws at me. For more info on Bridgestones great range of motorbike tyres visit www.bridgestonebikersclub.co.uk

As the TeapotOne official media partner, Fast Bikes magazine will feature a full page spread on TeapotOne in each monthly issue throughout the duration of the project. I’m over the moon to welcome ‘Fast Bikes’ as official media partner of TeapotOne. Their philosophy is all about just getting out and enjoying your bike no matter what you ride or where you ride it. This is perfect for my journey ahead where I’ll be taking my sports motorbike way out of our comfort zone as I travel around the world. I look forward to sharing all my experiences with the ‘Fast Bikes’ readers and online followers through their facebook and twitter pages, and will no doubt receive plenty of gentle encouragement in return! You can find out more at www.fastbikesmag.com

The TeapotOne journey will take in over 72 countries and almost 100,000 miles, covering almost every continent on earth. As I’m travelling without any accompanying support crew, it would be impossible to carry the maps required to navigate my way through the journey. Having Garmin onboard means I have the whole world conveniently located at my finger tips and the peace of mind knowing I’ll know exactly where I am at any point of the trip. With Garmin’s ‘connect’ portal I’ll also be able to share my route with people all over the world making the project truly interactive. I really appreciate the support Claire Haigh and Garmin have given TeapotOne and look forward to working with them throughout the journey. www.garmin.com/uk

Everything I need for almost 2yrs will have to be carried on the bike and on me. In every type of weather, through every type of terrain, my kit will have to remain dry and protected. I’m over the moon to have a name like Kriega onboard providing all my luggage for the trip. Their superior quality kit is tried and tested by bikers all over the world, and is up to the task I’ll be setting it. View the Kriega range at www.kriega.com

Being an island, there are only 2 ways off, over or under. I’m delighted to welcome P&O Ferries onboard TeapotOne and they have very kindly offered to take me across the channel to start the adventure. What’s more, they’re such good sports that they’re even going to bring me home from Rotterdam to Hull, sometime in mid 2014!. Brian Rees, Head of Press & Public relations for P&O Ferries, says, “We carry many thousands of motorcyclists at P&O Ferries and have a fair few bike nuts within our own ranks, so not much surprises us.  But when Bruce explained what he was up to, we felt a mixture awe and incredulity.  Awe at the distance he’s taking on, and incredulity at his choice of bike.  The Gixxer is an incredible  machine, but hardly the obvious choice for a 100,000 mile tour.   Perhaps he’ll fit some ape-hangers!  Very best wishes from P&O Ferries for an epic ride and a successul fundraising campaign.”

We ride we raced, we love bikes. We work with BSB teams, Speedway riders, the Fire department – responsible for scooping people up from the road, just anyone who needs a solution to casual riding in protective casual clothing. For those out there that advocate leathers over jeans, well so do we – when the time is right. Guys and girls out there will always ride in denim jeans and occasionally hoodies, so lets make it as safe and wickedly cool as we can! Working with Covec for 2 years straight, we’ve been designing materials fit for the purpose, fit for Bikers. Aramids (names such as Kevlar & Twaron), are great yarns, but not the ones for Bike jeans, they suffer from Hydrolysis, (get weaker by the day with any moisture like humidity and washing). Dyneema, probably the last thing you want in your pants, unless you like 3rd degree. It has high thermal conductivity and passes road heat (friction heat) straight through to the skin. Well, that’s what we are about, bikers making technical clothing that looks the nuts for bike nuts. Visit www.bull-it.com
