MEET THE TEAM

The work that is going on behind the scenes of 'teapotone' in order to make it a reality is immense!

Co-ordinating between our 4 charities, gathering sponsors, sourcing and custom building the bike, marketing, PR, running the website/YouTube/facebook/twitter sites, visas, vaccinations, sourcing all the kit…. right down to actually designing and sourcing the corporate decals that will adorn the finished bike and kit, this all takes time and lots of dedication. Actually getting on the bike and riding it 100,000 miles around the world is the easy bit!

To help make this a reality we've assembled a team of  like-minded individuals who are each equally insane and had nothing better to do for the next 2 yrs.

Bruce at Riders HQBruce – The Rider
Bruce will be the one who actually rides around the world and teapotone is his baby. Day or night, rain or shine, blazing heat or thundering snow and ice, you'll find Bruce somewhere on his bike. Biking's his life, his passion, his dream and his future. He quite likes bikes.
Teapotone began as his dream. But after a promise to his ailing mum, it quickly developed into a quest to make it a reality. Now it's his very soul and has already become life changing before he's even set off. With his drive and commitment, teapotone will raise well in excess of the predicted £1,000,000 for it's charities, and be the trip everybody strives to emulate.
Definitely one to watch for the future.

Russ – The Secretary
The drive behind teapotone, Russ is constantly on the go, thinking of new ideas to promote the trip, attract sponsors, and make this THE charity event. Russ has energy and enthusiasm  that could put any puppy to shame, and a will to make the project work on par with Bruce. Like Bruce Russ lives, breathes, and sleeps bikes. Teapotone has become his life with his ability to multi-task developing into an art-form that could put some women to shame! (If this is an 'ist' of any kind please be assured it's not meant in that way! – Ed). Sadly due to his family commitments Russ is not able to join Bruce on the trip. However he's bound to make an appearance at some stage through the 100,000 mile journey. But then again, so will diarrhoea!

Nikki – Our Very Own Mrs Scrooge
You can rest safe in the knowledge that the TeapotOne finances are being held secure in the vice-like grip of Bruce’s better half, Nikki. Who needs a degree in accountancy when you’re born and bred a Northerner?…. and you thought the Scot’s were tight?
On a serious note, with donations starting to come in thick and fast from all our events, t-shirt sales at all our places of work, and Corporate Sponsorship starting to take off, it’s a tricky old business keeping track of what’s coming in from where, and how much is going to who. As the project gathers momentum this is only going to grow in complexity and Nikki is just the character to ensure it all runs smoothly. On top of that, she gets to shop for new t-shirt stock!
Her cup runneth over.

Our very own Mr Disney!Si – Our 'Walt Disney'
With over 30 years experience in the industry, and a list of clients that include Disney, Warner Bros, Pixar, Looney Tunes, BBC, BMW & Coca Cola, to name but a few, we are sure Simon has found himself pushed to his very limits within his role as 'Chief Illustrator' here at 'TeapotOne'. Responsible for our logo and merchandise designs, if you don't like them….. it's HIS fault! View Si's website here www.contact-me.net/simonclare

An officer and a gentleman....? Woody – The Bill Gates of TeapotOne
Another Gixxer fan, Simon however is not joining Bruce on the TeapotOne adventure – Yet! With a new found talent for anything techy, Woody will be taking the reigns of the electronic TeapotOne stallion when Bruce is otherwise engaged.
Always ready to expand our social circles, he will be a familiar sight at many of our TeapotOne meets, so come and say hi!
