TeapotOne

Bruce Smart is the man behind TeapotOne. A self-confessed 'biker-holic', he made a promise to his mum before she died, that he would live out his dream and ride his motorbike around the world. After 3yrs hard work he left the UK in October 2012 to complete an epic 100,000 mile journey through 83 countries on his trusty Suzuki GSX-R1000. 41 days later, after successfully crossing the Sahara Desert, he was back in the UK a broken man after an arduous section through Mauritania & Senegal, in North West Africa. Bruce has now regrouped and is setting about riding the world once again, but this time one section at a time. Bruce writes about his travels and time on bikes, sharing his love and experiences on 'the beast' - his bike. Bruce is also an avid vlogger and his growing list of videos can be found on his youTube channel - TeapotOneVids.

I'm Off Again!

To be honest I’ve not really come to terms with it all falling apart, and really struggled to accept it was over, it just couldn’t be, not after all that work, all that effort! Thanks to Delta Energy Services (www.des-global.com) I’ve been given a [...]

The Day That Never Was

[dropcap style='default']I[/dropcap]t was meant to be a day not to forget. A track day at one of the UK’s best circuits with my good mate Jimbo. A chance to stretch the beast’s legs and for Jimbo to maiden test his new track bike. We couldn’t wait. But as usual fate had other things in mind [...]

R&G Shock Tube - Review

Cost: £21.24 (as of Mar ’13) Where From: www.shocktube.co.uk [dropcap style='round']I[/dropcap]must confess I’ve never given the slightest thought to my shock. Considering the job it does on your bike, that’s…….. well actually I still don’t really know what it does. In my mind it takes some of the ‘bumpy’ bits out the ride, makes the [...]

Smashing Lids – Part 2

By A-Force In a rural setting deep in the Netherlands is the Arai Innovation Centre (AIC): a unit filled with historic motorcycle helmet porn and enough machines to demonstrate most of the physical tests your crash helmet is likely to come across. I was at the AIC to see the ever developing 2013 range and [...]
